Out of the Darkness walk

On Saturday, Oct. 10, SUNY Fredonia co-sponsored the 6th Annual "Out of Darkness" walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, a non-profit organization exclusively dedicated to funding research, developing prevention initiatives and offering educational programs for survivors of suicide victims, professionals, and the public. This year we recorded the remarks of our speaker, Dan O'Rourke. Our campus raised over $4000 and had more than 300 people walk at this year's event. Read more at: http://bit.ly/darknesswalk2009

New Teaching Spaces: Visions for the Fredonia Science Center and Beyond

Dr. Holly J. Lawson, a recipient of the 2009 President’s Award for Excellence at SUNY Fredonia, explored the topic, “New Teaching Spaces: Visions for the Fredonia Science Center and Beyond,” during a lecture on Monday, Sept. 21, at 3 p.m., at the Juliet J. Rosch Recital Hall on the SUNY Fredonia campus.
